Alpine

Alpine is a small place that lies incredibly close to the border that crosses into New Mexico, and is somewhere almost entirely defined by its unique surrounding landscape. Campers often come here to explore the land, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and to take in the relaxing atmosphere that nature offers. Take the short drive to Escudilla Mountain to follow hiking trails that run over the mountain sides and up to the top, where you can catch a glimpse of some of the best mountain scenery in the state. Here, you will also feel as if you have stepped out of a Western movie. Mount Baldy offers a more familiar mountain experience, where you can hike through the trees and around the lake that is nestled in the hills.
