This remote A-frame cabin rental is located in the heart of the Coconino National Forest in Flagstaff, Arizona, and can accommodate up to four guests. For sleeping arrangements, guests will have one double bed with a memory foam mattress in the bedroom and two twin single self-inflating air beds in the loft. There is a full bathroom too, with a shower, a sink, and a toilet. Linens are kindly provided. AC and electric heat as well as wood stove.
In the living room, guests will have stunning views of the surrounding national forest, in addition to comfy furniture, a wood-burning stove, and a reading and games nook. The fully-equipped kitchen features a four-burner stove, an oven, a tea kettle, a refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, a coffeemaker, all necessary cookware and tableware, as well as condiments and spices. There is another sitting area upstairs in the loft with some cozy chairs and a television.
Outside, there is a barbecue grill to enjoy on the three decks outside, as well as a horseshoe pitch and two mountain bikes. A lantern, a cooler, star binoculars, and firewood are provided by the hosts. Guests should note that to reach the loft or the second bedroom, there is a steep staircase with no safety railing. Guests can check in anytime after 4 p.m., as there is self-check-in with a keypad lock.
House-trained dogs are permitted, but pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture. Cats are not allowed. Pets cannot be left unattended in the cabin, and guests should be that there is a strict dog barking ordinance. Guests must pick up after their dogs outside and dispose of waste appropriately in the outdoor garbage. Additionally, dogs must always be on a leash when outside.
Quiet hours are enforced between 9 pm and 7 am.
Guests should note that the cabin is immersed in the Coconino National Forest, so guests must follow the park’s rules, which means no barbecues, fire pits, fireworks, outdoor candles, or wood-burning stoves can be used between the months of April to September. The rest of the year, guests must also observe these rules when there are Red Flag Warnings, which will be posted on the main roads when in effect.
