Despite being relatively small, Lynx Lake offers so much for tourists. Boating, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and camping are some of the most sought-after activities in this area of the Prescott National Forest.
There is a designated gold panning area that is open to the public near the Salida Gultch Trailhead along Lynx Creek, so glampers may try their luck with their own pan.
Those who are into history will have more than 500 historical homes and buildings to visit in Prescott, and several museums that preserve the town’s turn of the century history. And for more sightseeing, Jerome and Sedona are also relatively close.
There are also golf courses, zoological sanctuaries, and even the World's Oldest Rodeo. Prescott is also an all-season destination, so glampers will have plenty to do, whether there is snow or flowers in sight.
