Description of Glamping Units
This enchanting cottage sits close to the Apache National Forest in Arizona in the tranquil town of Springerville. The cottage was built from the local volcanic rock in the 1940s, was the outhouse of an old ranch, and functioned as a feed granary, a tack room, and a bunkhouse for migrant workers. The cottage includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms and can accommodate up to five guests. Both bedrooms come with a queen-size bed and the master bedroom also offers a bathroom with a shower and a private seating area. The main bathroom provides a toilet and a combination bathtub-shower.
The main room of the cottage includes a full kitchen, a living area, and a four-person dining table. The cozy kitchen comes complete with a fridge-freezer, an oven, a stove, a microwave, a toaster, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, as well as dishes, utensils, and pantry items. It also provides a breakfast bar with two stools where guests can enjoy a quick bite to eat. The snug living area offers a comfy sofa and an armchair to relax after a busy day exploring. Guests will also find books, games, and a DVD player to keep themselves occupied throughout their stay.

Guests are within easy reach of the Becker Lake for a plethora of activities, as well as the Lyman Lake, which is located a short distance further. The River Walk Trail follows the Little Colorado River and is another great spot to hike and spot a variety of beautiful wildlife.
The Wenima Wildlife Area boasts 355 acres and two scenic hiking trails. It is also home to a variety of bird species, including Golden Eagle, American Kestrel, Belted Kingfisher, Blue Grosbeak, and Indigo Bunting. In downtown Springerville, guests can enjoy an interesting day trip to the Casa Malpais Archaeological Park where they can join a guided tour discover the fascinating history behind it. Additionally, guests can visit the Springerville Heritage Center where they will find the Casa Malpais Museum and the spectacular Renée Cushman Museum.
