Alternatively, guests can enjoy a peaceful picnic, stroll, and admire the surrounding wildlife. Fishing enthusiasts can head to the numerous perennial creeks, rivers, and the man-made lakes in the Gila National Forest. Guests will have the chance to catch Rainbow and Brown Trout, Large and Small Mouth Bass, along with Channel and Flathead Catfish. For those interested in watersport activities, the Bear Canyon Dam, the Bill Evans Dam, and the Glenwood Pond are all within easy reach of the property. At these locations, guests can try out motorized or non-motorized boating, or go for a refreshing swim in the water. The area also offers magnificent star gazing opportunities and was last year named one of the darkest skies in North America.
