This charming and secluded property in Taos, New Mexico, boasts two separate winter yurt systems. The first is situated in the southeastern end of the San Juan Mountains, near Cumbres Pass in Southern Colorado. The second system has one larger yurt above Taos Ski Valley in northern New Mexico.
The system in Southern Colorado is open only during winter and is nestled amidst breathtakingly gorgeous mountain terrain over 10,000 feet above sea level. Snowshoers and hikers will find access to abundant mountain scenery and trails, and skiers will find themselves in a true winter wonderland. Guests will have access to clearly marked trails that make it easy to explore the area or even ski from yurt to yurt. In the nearby town Antonito, guests can indulge at one of the several bars or restaurants, take a scenic railroad excursion, or explore the Conejos County Museum. Guests will also be within driving distance of Colorado's Great Sand Dunes and Colorado Gators Reptile Park.
