This secluded cabin in the Sacramento Mountains of New Mexico can accommodate up to six guests. The accommodation comprises of an open living and sleeping area, a separate kitchen, and a recently remodeled full bathroom. In the living and sleeping area, guests will find two full-size beds, a full-size futon, and a TV and DVD player. Linens and towels are provided for the two beds and are available upon request for the futon. The kitchen also has a generous dining area and separates the cabin from the adjoining cabin. The full kitchen has all the appliances guests will need as well as cookware, dishes, and a coffee pot.
The accommodation is heated and feature recently refurbished bathrooms. The accommodation has a flat-screen HDTV with cable and a DVD player. Linens and towels are provided, and there is also complimentary Wi-Fi. There is a shared laundry room for guests.

Smoking is not permitted inside any of the buildings, guests smoking outside are asked to carefully extinguish their cigarettes to avoid the risk of fire in this wooded area.
Guests are urged to leave cabins tidy and dishes washed as there are bears in the area. Garbage must be sealed in plastic bags and placed in the trash with the lid closed at all times.
Quiet hours are observed between 10 PM and 8 AM, and guests are asked not to play music outside.
ATVs, UTVs, and Dirt Bikes may only be ridden in and out of the park.
Cabins rented for only one night have an extra cleaning fee, and during certain holidays, there is a minimum stay of three nights.

This forest location makes this an ideal spot to catch a glimpse of deer, elk, turkey, and of course beautiful hummingbirds. Lincoln National Forest has stunning trails for hiking, most of these are suitable for mountain biking, and OHVs are allowed on most forest roads. The Osha Trail is the most popular for hikers, as it has breathtaking views of the Tularosa Basin. The New Mexico Rails-to-Trails is also a popular walk taking in various sights and giving historical information about the railroad trellis system. The Upper Karr Canyon Area is only 30 minutes away for snow sledding and tubing in winter. For adventures outside of the park, guests can drive to White Sands National Monument to view the incredible landscape. Downtown Alamogordo is a great place to bring kids for a visit to the visit the Space Museum, the Alameda Park Zoo, and the Toy Train Depot.
