The casita is centrally located, and guests will find a number of activities right in their own backyard. The town's own Santuario is the site of traditional pilgrimages during the Easter holiday, and the village is credited with having the most intact, active Spanish Colonial Plaza in the state. Art galleries and traditional weavers suffuse the town, perfect for a small family walkabout. Those interested in the outdoors might consider the miles of trails just minutes away on BLM land, open to hiking, biking, or even horseback riding, or they can go a bit further and try their hand at skiing in the Santa Fe Ski Basin. If guests love games of chance, meanwhile, there are a number of casinos down Route 84. Or, if they're in the mood for a more relaxing time, the Ojo Caliente Hot Springs will help loosen up those muscles.
