For guests who want to explore the surrounding area and immerse themselves in the history of Silver City, downtown Silver City is just a short drive away. Guests will be able to roam the streets of a former Apache Indian campsite, which now serves as the city’s arts district. Additionally, glampers can visit the Western New Mexico University Museum, which houses prehistoric southwestern artifacts and pottery or they can make their way to Fort Bayard, which protected mining communities from the Apache Indians in the late 19th Century.
