Luxury Safari Tents on Luwi River, Zambia
Each one of the 4 en-suite thatch and grass tents is unique, being reconstructed each season as an part of an eco-conscious effort to protect the area. The tents are rustic but comfortable with twin or double beds under a large walk-in mosquito net. The tents have spacious bathrooms that are partially open to the sky. Showers have hot water heated by a wood-burning stove and have a flushing toilet. All shelves, clothes hangers and hanging rails are made of local wood and reeds and a solar lantern is used to provide light at night. The honeymoon tent is slightly larger and more removed from the other tents, with a private patio and a view of the open plain.
