The Space:
It sits in the peaceful farming village located on the banks of Boorowa River, offering modern amenities and a slow-paced country lifestyle that city dwellers would love to spend their staycations. Your perfect home away from the hustle and bustle, where you can appreciate simple life in harmony with nature overlooking rural paddocks, and sweeping agricultural landscapes just outside your door.

A comfortable accommodation nearby Burrinjuck Dam, Wyangla Dam, and just an hour drive Canberra. Complete with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower for hot showers.

The Neighborhood:
It sits in the farming village of Boorowa, Hilltops Region, southwest slopes of New South Wales. Boorowa is a charming rural town that boasts a proud Irish heritage and a rich pastoral history. It serves as an excellent starting point for exploring the nearby cellar doors of the Hilltops wine region.

Additionally, this area is renowned for producing top-quality merino wool, which is celebrated annually at the Irish Woolfest.

- The Shamrock Cafe at Boorowa Hotel offers some of the best coffee and the largest Boorowa Farmers Breakfast in the country.
- Marsden St. General is an iconic cafe in the heart of Boorowa, offering freshly made coffee, baked goods, sourdough bread and other tasty treats.
- Shamrock Trail explores the colonial and 20th century historical buildings, including the stained glass spectacles of St Patrick's Catholic Church and riverside heritage buildings.

Townships close by are Yass, Young, Harden, Binalong, Rye Park, Cowra, Wyangla Dam, Burrinjuck Dam, Wee Jasper (1.5 hours from Canberra, 3.5 hours from Sydney).

By car:

- 3.5 hrs (350km) drive from Sydney
- 1.5 hrs (120km) drive from Canberra
- 6.5 hrs (620kms) drive from Melbourne. All reachable are by 2WD, motorbike, bicycle

By public transport:

- Taxis are accessible in Boorowa
- The closest train stations are Yass or Harden
- Transport from the train station is by private arrangement or taxi
- Bus from Canberra - Yass - Boorowa: book through Transport For NSW or visit website rome2rio and find Canberra - Boorowa, tickets can be purchased at the bus station.

- We have a sheep paddock that guests would enjoy
- Telstra & Optus have good signal. Vodafone, 2degree & Spark have no signal
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Kindly note that we ask all guests to refrain from allowing their pets to engage in activities that may trigger excessive barking or howling. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a peaceful environment for everyone.

Farm guidelines

- Keep a safe distance from pets and farm animals as they are easily agitated
- Please do not chase or harass the sheep. Your pet is not permitted to chase, bark or distress the sheep in any way
- We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
