This hand-built, fully furnished and luxurious 3-storey treehouse is built around majestic coniferous trees in the Costa Rican Jungle, yet is only 350 feet away from the beautiful dark sand, coconut-tree lined Playa Negra beach! The Playa Negra lies on the Pacific coast and is famous for its surfer community and right-hand barrel waves. On the south side of the beach, you'll find protected areas for swimming. On the beach, you will have laid-back reggae and other live music bars and good restaurants serving rich authentic Costa Rican cuisine.

Only about 350 feet away down the little sand road lies the stunning Playa Negra beach, a beautiful dark-sand beach lined with coconut trees and famous for surfing. There are also protected areas for swimming. Check the famous 'Reggae Bar' to relax and enjoy life on the open air terrace affording great views of the beach. The bar is also known for its delicious Pina Coladas, Coconut Chicken with Rice & Beans or the BBQ grilled red snapper. On Friday nights there is always a different live band playing Reggae, Calypso and Blues. Also, make sure to pay downtown Cahuita a visit and enjoy the typical Costa Rican atmosphere: the buzzing streets, local shops and good restaurants and bars.
The National Park of Cahuita and its amazing coral reef have an abundant of colorful marine life, bright pink fish, yellow stripes, sea horses, Mantarays, dolphins, and many different coral reefs that can be observed while diving into these turquoise waters. A guided hike into the park will give you the chance to meet exotic wildlife such as howler monkeys, Capuccine monkeys, sloths, iguanas, poison dart frogs, butterflies and much more.
Enjoy a horseback ride on the beach or trek the rainforest, mountains and to the waterfalls. Take a tour to a typical chocolate plantation, make and eat your own chocolate! A canoe trip on the Rio Estrella gives you the opportunity to spot caymans, a manatee and the river bird life. A boat trip out to sea will take you to the dolphins and you can even swim with them.
