Located in the Santiago Province of the Dominican Republic, this remote glamping site is made up of 70,000 square meters of nature and is the perfect place to getaway from it all. Set along Lake Taveras, it offers waterfront views and is bordered by various mountain ranges and lush rainforests. This location is set inland and just east of José Armando Bermúdez National Park, which on its own is a site to be seen, but also offers up the impressive Pico Duarte, famed as the highest mountain in the Carribean.

It is just over an hour drive south of the natural monument of Pico Diego de Ocampo, where the Cibao Valley boasts some of the most fertile lands in all of Dominican Republic. Additionally, this property is only 45 minutes from the city of Santiago de los Caballeros. Guests will find close access to several ranches, where there are numerous places to experience traditional Dominican food and music. The closest ones being Rancho Mariano, only a five-minute water taxi from here, and Guayabil River Rancho, which is situated only 10 minutes by car.

With over 70,000 acres of natural wildlife and direct waterfront access, at this glamping site, there is no shortage of activities. Guests can do anything from kayaking to renting a sailboat, both offered right on the site. Glampers who want to see the surrounding area on horseback can go on an excursion with one of the several horses on site. There are also fishing opportunities and full-day hikes available along Lake Taveras. Glampers who are interested in heading into the center of Santiago de Los Caballeros can visit the Parque Zoologico Gurabo, discover local art galleries or take a stroll through Duarte Park. For the water sports enthusiasts, this location is a great spot for kite surfing, as guests will be only a five-minute walk to the ultimate spot for launching their kite onto Lake Taveras. Guests can also bring their bikes for a true outback adventure. Lastly, the river Yaque del Norte, which runs from Jarabacoa into Lake Taveras, is a highly popular destination for river rafting and just around the corner from this glamping site.
