Rustic Eco-Friendly Cottages in North Goa, India

Rustic cottages are an ideal accommodation to stay in while you experience the beauty of India. This glamping site offers three cottages, each one unique in size and design, and they are each situated at different levels in the site’s backyard. They were made using local materials such as bamboo, stone, coconut wood and palm leaves. The cottages have large windows that allow a wonderful breeze to come through. The bathrooms are tropical style with the roof partly open for sunlight and a beautiful view. All of the glamping cottages come with a safe and a tea/coffee maker. Below you’ll find the three cottages described in greater detail.

Sun Bird: This rustic cottage is suitable for a family of three. It’s located near the edge of the paddy field and is at the same level as the swimming pool. There is a four-poster bed, beautiful antique furniture and a lovely porch overlooking the paddies and the river.

Horn Bill: This cozy cottage is perfect for a family with two children. There is a king-sized bed and a loft for the children. This beautiful cottage was built partly on a slope, and there is a wide balcony that offers a panoramic view of the coconut grove.

Golden Oriole: This small cottage is perfect for a couple. Whether you’re planning your honeymoon or a romantic weekend, this cozy cottage would be an excellent choice. From the big windows of the cottage, you’ll have a lovely view of the swimming pool and lakes. Also, there’s an outdoor staircase that leads down to the toilet below. This cottage also happens to be located at the highest level of the property.

The meals prepared at this glamping site will be filled with locally grown vegetables and fresh seafood, and will be cooked on a traditional wood fire. Though most meals are prepared in a Goan-style, you can request if you’d like any of your favorite dishes. Meals are served poolside.

In addition to the delicious meals prepared at this site, lots of fruit is grown here too! There will be plenty of papayas, bananas, chickoos, pomegranates, lime, pomelos, custard apples, and cashews. If you visit in April or May, there will also be delicious Goan mangos. Obviously this fresh fruit will be served daily with breakfast.
