THE GLAMPING UNITS The glamping site has 21 luxurious canvas tents, divided into three categories.
There are 14 Tented Suites, each with their own veranda, drawing room, spacious air-conditioned bedroom and, of course, en-suite bathroom, covering an area of about 1100 sq.ft.
The 6 Lluxury Tented Suites have, in addition, a private, walled-in garden with a plunge pool.
The Royal Suite which boasts its own private spa, pool, and lounge tents is the ultimate in luxury living in the desert!
The Dining Tent serves delicious western as well as local delicacies, using home-grown organic produce from the camp’s organic vegetable and herb garden. The Spa, created by the world renowned spa company, ‘Raison d’Etre’ has four individual treatment tents, set around a garden. The Spa menu offers a variety of treatments designed to relax and rejuvenate.
ACTIVITIES Our specially tailored excursions, led by experienced guides, take our guests to some beautiful places off the beaten track, and also to the medieval city and fort of Jaisalmer. Camel and horse safaris are also provided, and are a great way to explore the rural countryside and wilderness. The site does not arrange hiking tours, although the guests can go hiking on their own in the 100 acres which belongs to the site.
There is a Complimentary Laundry Service available at the camp.
HOW TO GET THERE
By Air While the site is one hour drive from Jaisalmer airport, only private charters are allowed to land there for the moment. The other airport is in Jodhpur, a three and a half hour comfortable drive.
By Rail The nearest railhead is at Chandan Railway Station, 4 kms from The Serai. The first major railway station is Jaisalmer which is 52 kms from The Serai. There are several trains every day from Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Jodhpur and other cities. We are happy to provide transfers if required.

The Serai can be described in many ways for me the words that come to my mind are a dream like place where the Pandimonium of my mind quits, your every need is met in a beauty, many can’t even imagine.
