Cambridge is located in the Waikato Region of New Zealand’s North Island and offers a wealth of outdoor opportunities, local cuisine, and ample historical sights to see. Glampers, who love to cycle, will discover the world class velodrome, Avantidrome Home of Cycling, which connects to the Te Awa Cycleway. There are ample trekking and hiking routes for the adventurous, ideal for a serious workout or quiet contemplation. The Waikato River is a great place to spend the day kayaking, canoeing, jet boating and skiing, as well as white water rafting or glampers can follow some of the epic trails along the New Zealand’s longest river, which leads exotic forest and native bush.
