Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from the deck, lounge, or even your bed. Stroll the beach, fall asleep to the murmur of the ocean, and let this tranquil, well appointed space refresh and invigorate you. Pause, unwind, treat yourself and let nature gently fill your soul in this must-do West Coast experience.

The space
Built in 2022 to passive house principles, and solar powered since October 2025, your guest suite is furnished to the highest standard. While attached to our home, it was designed to be completely separate and private with the most incredible view! Like a personal hotel where you are the only guests!

You have a parking space and access up a few steps to your own private deck, with entrance to your suite through a ranch slider door.

The triple glazed floor to ceiling windows provide phenomenal views if you wish to stay inside, and the windows and door all have insect screens so you can enjoy the sound of the sea without the bother of bugs. Our heat pump / air conditioner will keep you warm or cool to your preference if you prefer the windows and door closed.

Refresh yourself in the rain-head shower, then relax in one of our provided bath robes. Sleep in a comfortable Super King bed with quality linen and choice of pillows. Access Netflix and other streaming options, as well as wifi.

Welcome the new day with a complimentary sumptuous breakfast and café style coffee from the Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. You also have a kettle, toaster, egg boiler with eggs (from our own chickens whenever possible) microwave, kettle, and quiet mini-fridge. We offer a West Coast inspired, home-cooked 3-course dinner menu if you would like to eat in, or there are options for dining out in Greymouth, Runanga and Punakaiki.

Just at the end of the property, over the road, the beach awaits. Factor in time for exploration - this is one of the West Coast's treasures, with bountiful rock pools, sea stacks, stunning cliffs and towering hills behind - make sure you have space on your camera for photos and in your pockets for the many unique pebbles you could discover.

Your comfort and enjoyment of this space matters to us, so we have not spared cost in preparing this special haven for you. We genuinely want you to love it here, so please do let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay even better.

So many previous guests tell us they wish they had stayed for longer. Do yourself a favour and book at least two nights so you can unwind and relax properly in this wild, seaside paradise!

Guest access
You have complete, private access to the whole guest suite, including the room, bathroom, deck and parking. The beach is easily accessible by walking down the driveway or through the garden, then crossing the road. It is well worth spending time there too!

Other things to note
Our parking area is not suitable for large camper vans, thank you.

Breakfast is included - enjoy!

Please note that we don't have full kitchen facilities, as written in the description and shown in the pictures. We have a dinner menu if you would like to enjoy the sunset while you eat on your deck or in your room, or there is a list of recommended places to eat out with links to menus in our compendium.

If you are arriving after 5pm and would like dinner with us, please message me and I will let you know the menu options, so I can prepare them for you for when you come. (Note that we do not start serving meals after 7pm. If you plan to arrive later than then, it is best to buy something in Punakaiki if coming from the north, or Greymouth, if arriving from the south.)

We offer professional couple and individual photography shoots on the beach as a special memory for people staying here, as well as elopements! Let me know if you would like to know more about these options.
