Kittisford Barton is situated in the picturesque rolling hills of Somerset. The site features five individual safari tents: Kingfisher, Woodpecker, Nuthatch, Treecreeper, and Woodcock, each accommodating up to six guests. You have the option to book the entire site or select any of the five individual tents. Kittisford Barton is an ideal destination for a family getaway. You can relax in one of the spacious safari tents, each fully equipped with a cosy wood-burning stove, hot running water, and comfortable bedrooms, complete with a wood-fired hot tub.

Each tent has three bedrooms that can accommodate two people each. The first bedroom has a king-size bed, the second has two twin beds, and finally, the third bedroom has a bunk bed. An additional travel cot can be provided for smaller children. Each cabin also has a small bathroom with a shower and toilet. Linens and towels are provided.

There is a private fully equipped kitchen with a cool box and double gas hob. Outside, there is a fire pit/barbecue with an unlimited logs perfect to create amazing memories under the stars on a cookout with friends and family.

Each property comes with an abundance of facilities including a spacious dining and living room, log burning stove, private balcony and outdoor furniture.

Parking:
Parking is only available in the designated parking area.
Vehicles can not be driven to the tents.
Barrows are provided to take your luggage from your car to the tent.
Please be aware that the path might be uneven at times.

This is a off-grid experience with no electricity on site. Light is provided by candles, portable lamps, and solar powered lighting.

A security deposit of £500.00 will be held, ONLY when booking the full site and refunded within 7 days of departure.

All adult bookings must be discussed and agreed before booking confirmation.

Travel cots (small additional charge) and high chairs available on request.

Up to four well behaved dogs welcome per tent (small additional charge).

This charming property is located in Kittsford Barton, Somerset, in the true English countryside that is world famous for its variety of colors and budded wild nature. Being located in the south west of the United Kingdom on the outward leg of the island means that guests can easily drive to the sea in most of the directions that they travel in. This property is also only a short 30-minute drive from the enormous Exmoor National Park which is home to the South West coast path and valley of the rocks. Also located close to the property are Quantock Hills and Blackdown Hills. Directly east of the property is Taunton which is the nearest town that houses much culture and beauty for guests to see and is the county town of Somerset.

Somerset boasts an abundance of activities and culture for guests to explore. For cultural experiences, guests can visit certain historic sites that boast true English heritage. Guests should make sure that they visit the beautiful Cothay Manor Historic House and Gardens, a medieval site that will take guests back in time. Another favorite for this property are the simply stunning Hestercombe Gardens, very well maintained gardens with classic British architecture. For something more adventurous with the family there is a safari park, theme park and go karting track all a close drive from the property.

After a long day venturing around the south west of the United Kingdom guests will need to recharge their batteries and what better way than going to a classic English pub. Close by to this property are two traditional pubs called The Holywell and The White Hart.
