This delightful vacation rental with stunning mountain views is located near Phoenicia, New York, and can accommodate six guests comfortably. The king-size and queen-size beds will sleep four and the futon folds out into a double bed for two additional guests. The private bathroom features a single vanity, a walk-in shower, and a toilet. A dresser offers storage space for guests belongings. The mini-fridge will come in handy for keeping cold drinks and light snacks on hand and guests will also enjoy the private balcony with seating overlooking the lush grounds.
Outside, guests can take a walk along the creek or explore the miles of hiking trails before returning to the property for a refreshing swim in the pool. In the evening, the firepit would make the perfect place to end the day on a sweet note with some gooey marshmallows and s'mores toasted over the glowing embers.
Singles, couples, groups, and families alike will enjoy a stay in one of the many accommodations available here. All rentals come equipped with air-conditioning, heating, and Wi-Fi. All linens and towels are provided.

The hosts offer four and five bedroom stand-alone rentals, one and two bedroom efficiency getaways, and bed and breakfast rooms with private bathrooms. The Forsthaus Restaurant offers German and Austrian influenced cuisine on weekends from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Weekend. The vintage tavern and bowling alley is open for guests' enjoyment for happy hour on weekends or by special arrangement.
Slide Mountain (the highest peak in the Catskills) acts as a backdrop while the 65.4 mile Esopus Creek (ideal for fishing and tubing) headwaters run right through the property. There are five miles of mountain hiking trails waiting to be explored and an inviting outdoor pool for cooling off upon return. Several small towns are accessible within a half hour of the property including Fleischmanns, Phoenicia, Margaretville, Mount Tremper, Pine Hill, and Woodstock. The Catskills area is known for the Catskill Forest Preserve, home to abundant wildlife and offering hiking trails and ski resorts including the popular Hunter and Belleayre Mountains.

Fall brings apple picking, colorful foliage, and scenic drives along Route 28. When the snow flies, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and snowshoeing take over at the mountain resorts. Spring sees the running of the sap for sweet maple syrup, the start of the market season, and mushroom hunting.
The Eastern Catskill Park is said to be comparable to the Western Yellowstone National Park. At over 600,000 acres, Catskill Park features forested mountains, winding valleys, and surging rivers and streams. The ultimate adventure awaits those who enter.
