Westfield

Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom is known for its rolling farmlands and dense woodlands along with the brilliant, fiery reds and yellows of its fall leaves. Westfield, located in scenic Orleans County in the far north of the Green Mountain State and just shy of the Canadian border, makes for the perfect base from which to explore this annual natural spectacle and more. Hikers will wish to avail themselves of its proximity to the northern terminus of the famous Long Trail as it finishes its 270-mile journey through rugged hills and scenic woodlands at the Canadian border, whereas skiers and climbers will make the most of nearby Jay Peak and its mountain resort. Enjoying the natural splendor of the New England backwoods has never been easier!
