These Oklahoma cabin rentals are located in the southern outskirts of Hodgen, where it is situated by the bank of the Black Fork River and surrounded by a wooded setting on a secluded, 40-acre property. To the north and south, the property is bordered by Ouachita National Forest, which encompasses almost two million acres of mountains, streams, rivers, lakes, and forests filled with eastern red cedars, winged elms, and a variety of oaks. These verdant natural environments provide habitats for deer, squirrels, chipmunks, black bears, wild turkeys, and bald eagles.

Highlights of the forest include the 225-mile Ouachita National Recreation Trail, a long mineral belt with large deposits of quartz crystals, the Talimena Scenic Drive (a National Scenic Byway), and two wilderness areas containing old-growth forests: the Black Fork Mountain Wilderness and the Upper Kiamichi River Wilderness.

The cabin is about two and a half hours from Tulsa, where the nearest international airport is located.
