Coker Creek

Coker Creek, Tennessee is located deep in the woods of the Cherokee State Forest, allowing visitors easy access to its hiking and mountain-biking trails so they can explore the forest slopes and rugged valleys of Appalachia’s Blue Ridge. Those who wish to explore by vehicle will take advantage of Coker Creek’s proximity to Tellico Plains, a starting point for the recently constructed scenic Cherohala Skyway, a scenic driving route that opens up otherwise inaccessible mountain scenery, providing incredible views as it travels between the Cherokee and Nantahala National Forests. The journey is particularly beautiful in the fall but worthwhile at any time of year. A little further lies the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, one of the most visited in the USA, and, for music lovers, the famous Dollywood theme park, named after local country star Dolly Parton.
