In the picturesque region of New South Wales, glampers will embark on an awe-inspiring adventure in nature and history as they explore the National Trust-classified villages of Tilba Tilba and Central Tilba as well as Mount Gulaga, an extinct volcano in Gulaga National Park. The National Park overshadows the landscape around the villages and is of great cultural significance to the Yuin Aboriginal. Glampers can traverse the beautiful trail that leads to Mount Gulaga, also known as Mount Dromedary and admire breathtaking views of the landscape and coast.
Furthermore, glampers can visit the neighboring seaside town of Narooma which lies on the edge of Wagonga Inlet. Here, glampers can delight in a number of activities including swimming and snorkeling. Montague Island is home to a colony of fur seals, thousands of penguins, and many bird species and offers a perfect afternoon out. The Narooma coast is picturesque and home to the Glasshouse Rocks and Pillow Lava which are ancient rock formations from the volcanic activity thousands of years ago. Surfers can head east to 1080 beach which is also great for swimming and sunbathing.
A stroll around town is a good way to get familiar with the history and the locals and glampers will find an array of things to do and see. The famous ABC Cheese Factory offers tastings while the Tilba Growers Market is held every Saturday. Art galleries and boutiques abound and there are many restaurants and cafes that bustle and beckon.
