Glamping Hub will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic.

Disclosure and sharing between hosts & guests

To help facilitate bookings, we may share your information with other Users as follows:

  • When you, as a Guest, submit a booking request, certain information about you is shared with the Host, including your full name, the full name of any additional Guests, and other information you agree to share. When your booking is confirmed, we will disclose additional information to assist with coordinating the trip, like your phone number and/or email address.
  • When you, as a Host, have a confirmed booking, certain information is shared with the Guest to coordinate the booking, such as your full name, phone number, and the address of the Accommodation.

We don’t share your billing and payout information with other Users.

Profiles, listings, and other public information

The Glamping Hub Platform lets you publish information that is visible to the general public. For example:

  • Parts of your public profile page, such as your first name, your description, and city, which are publicly visible to others.
  • Public Listing pages are publicly visible and include information such as the Accommodation’s approximate location, Listing description, calendar availability, the Host public profile photo, aggregated demand information (like page views over a period of time), and any additional information the Host chooses to share.
  • After completing a booking, Guests and Hosts may write reviews and rate each other. Reviews are a part of your public profile page.
  • If you submit content in a public forum or social media post or use a similar feature on the Glamping Hub Platform, that content is publicly visible.

Information you share publicly on the Glamping Hub Platform may be indexed through third-party search engines. In some cases, you may opt-out of this feature in your Account settings. If you change your settings or your public-facing content, these search engines may not update their databases. We do not control the practices of third-party search engines, and they may use caches containing your outdated information.

Additional services

Hosts may use third-party services available through the Glamping Hub Platform to assist with managing their Accommodation or providing additional services, such as cleaning services. Hosts may use features on the Glamping Hub Platform to share information about the Guest (like check-in and check-out dates, Guest name, Guest phone number, and Guest anonymized email address) with that third-party service provider for the purposes of coordinating the stay, managing the Accommodation, or delivering other services.

Business transaction

If Glamping Hub is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Data Protection Policy.

Disclosure for law enforcement

Under certain circumstances, Glamping Hub may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

Legal requirements

Glamping Hub may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • To comply with a legal obligation.
  • To comply with the Tax Authorities.
  • To protect and defend the rights or property of Glamping Hub.

Glamping Hub will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Data Protection Policy, and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place, including the security of your data and other personal information.

Operating as an international group

To facilitate our international operations Glamping Hub International, Inc and Glamping Hub International S.L. may transfer, store, and process your information within our family of companies or with service providers based in Europe and North America. Laws in these countries may differ from the laws applicable to your Country of Residence. For example, information collected within the EEA may be transferred, stored, and processed outside of the EEA for the purposes described in this Data Protection Policy. Where we transfer, store, and process your personal information outside of the EEA, we have ensured that appropriate safeguards are in place to ensure an adequate level of data protection.

If Glamping Hub International S.L. is the Data Controller and your information is shared with corporate affiliates or third-party service providers outside the EEA, we have—prior to sharing your information with such corporate affiliate or third party service provider—established the necessary means to ensure an adequate level of data protection. We will provide further information on the means to ensure an adequate level of data protection on request.

Data transferring within corporate affiliates

To help us provide the Glamping Hub Platform, we may share your information within our corporate family of companies (both financial and non-financial entities) that are related by common ownership or control. These related entities are covered under this Data Protection Policy, and when services have additional terms specific to them, we tell you through the Glamping Hub Platform.

Sharing within Glamping Hub International, Inc and Glamping Hub International S.L.

If you reside in the United States of America, some of your information may be shared with Glamping Hub International SL when you create a Listing or when you book a Host Service located outside of the United States. The information shared in these circumstances may include: (i) your name, e-mail address, and phone number, (ii) information relating to the Listing or Host Service, including its address, (iii) booking information for the Listing or Host Service, including but not limited to booking dates and payment amounts, and (iv) the names, nationalities, and identification details (including passport/national ID numbers and expiry dates) of any Guests. Additionally, when you send a message to a Host or Guest outside of the United States, your first name, profile picture, and message content sent via the Glamping Hub Platform will be shared with Glamping Hub International S.L.

Inversely, if you reside in any of the countries of the European Economic Area, your personal information might be shared with Glamping Hub International, Inc when you create a listing or when you book a Host Service located outside of the EEA. The information shared in these circumstances may include the same personal data stated in the paragraph above.

We’ll notify you in advance in the above situations, and in specific situations where we apply any practices that differ from what is described in this Data Protection Policy.

Analysis of communications

We may analyze or scan your communications for the purposes of preventing and detecting inappropriate or illicit behaviors, not according with the purposes of the Service. Additionally we may review your communications for purposes related to customer support. We may also use automated systems to mask contact data or references to other websites. We will not analyze or review your messages to share with third parties that could send you commercial communications.

Security of data

The security of your data is important to us. For that reason we have implemented technical and organizational measures that protect your personal data. Some of these measures are, but not limited to:

  • Limited access to your personal information for Glamping Hub employees who need it to provide you with a service.
  • Require that all employees sign a non-disclosure agreement to protect our Users and other confidential data.
  • Make sure our service suppliers sign GDPR Data Processor and Non-Disclosure Agreements to guarantee the protection of your personal data and to assure it will not be used for non-authorized purposes.
  • Ensure that collected personal information will only be stored during the necessary period of time to fulfill the purposes for which such data was collected.
  • Encrypt required credit card information in your application using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
  • Store all your personal information in secure software systems that will protect it against non-authorized access or use.

Children's Data Protection

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (”Children”).
