The secluded setting is away from main roads and offers peaceful privacy. Although the location feels remote, it is only a 15-minute drive to the charming, historic town of Wollombi and 40 minutes from the Hunter Valley's central wine district of Pokolbin. Nature lovers will be an hour drive from abundant wildlife and native vegetation in Werakata State Park.

New Zealand is famous for its diverse and breathtakingly beautiful landscape featuring countless scenic trails. Surrounded by Wollombi's rolling hills and within an hour's drive from Werakata State Park, guests will have a large variety of options for outdoor recreation at their fingertips. Guests can hike or bike through the region, explore the area on horseback, or even embark on an ATV tour. The area has numerous lakes perfect for fishing, and there are several golf courses within driving distance.

Hunter Valley is Austrailia's oldest wine region and the Wollombi Valley features numerous vineyards as well. Guests can spend an entire day hopping from one winery to the next on their own or with a guided tour. The friendly neighboring town of Wollombi is steeped in history and boasts numerous popular sites of interest. There is a museum where guests can brush up on local history, numerous restaurants and taverns, charming local shops, and fantastic weekend markets. Additionally, the Great North Road in Laguna and Wollombi is dotted with artistic sculptures including the giant ants of the Great Northern Trading Post in Laguna.
