This rustic and secluded log cabin rental is located on a farm outside of Cooma, New South Wales. It is a few feet away from the Kydra River, between two national parks in the heart of the famous and beautiful Snowy Mountains. The log cabin can accommodate up to five guests, perfect for family vacations or group retreats.
In the upstairs loft, couples can sleep on a comfortable double bed in the master bedroom. Children can sleep on a twin-size sofa bed in the master bedroom, another double-size bed in the second bedroom, or a twin-size bed in the third bedroom. Each bedroom includes a dresser and a closet. All three bedrooms will have easy access to a full, private bathroom with a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Linens, towels, hair dryers, and toiletries are provided.
After a long day of canoeing down the Kydra River or skiing down the Snowy Mountains, guests can relax in the cozy living room. They can kick back on the sofa and watch TV, curl up in front of the wood-burning fireplace, or sit in a leather armchair and enjoy the gorgeous views of the Australian countryside. A collection of books, games, and DVDs are provided for family entertainment.
The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a fridge with a freezer, a stove and oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a toaster. A coffeemaker, tea kettle, dishes, and cooking utensils are also provided. There are two dining rooms, each with a table that can seat up to six guests. A highchair is provided for parents with infants or small children. Other amenities include heating and air conditioning, cable and satellite, and a washer and dryer.
Outside, guests can drink coffee or tea on the front porch and watch the sunrise over the valley and mountains. In the evenings, they can relax in the outdoor private patio, where they can roast s'mores around a fire pit, cook dinner on a barbecue grill, or just sit back and watch the horses and cattle graze in the pastures and gardens outside the log cabin.
The cabin in Snowy Mountains is located on a farm, so guests will have access to nearby pastures and bushwalking trails. Guests will also have access to the nearby Kydra River.

At the farm, guests can watch birds like parrots, or view wildlife like horses and Scottish Highland cows graze in the fields and pastures outside the cabin. Guests will have access to nearby nature trails where they can go hiking, bike riding, and bushwalking. Along the trails, guests can take photos of the gorgeous Australian countryside, or view more wildlife like wombats and kangaroos. The farm is also conveniently located near the Kydra River, where guests can fish, canoe, and kayak.
Cooma is tucked away in the beautiful Snowy Mountains. Guests will be near a number of popular mountain resorts where they can go skiing and snowboarding. Guests can drive down to the beaches along New South Wales' southern coast for a day of swimming, surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving.
The farm is centrally located between two national parks, Kosciuszko and Wadbilliga. At Kosciuszko National Park, guests can go hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and caving. At Wadbilliga National Park, there are more opportunities for hiking and mountain biking, as well as birdwatching, bushwalking, viewing wildlife, and rappelling.
For more leisurely activities, guests can stroll through the town of Cooma for shopping, dining, and antiquing. Additionally, guests can take day trips to Canberra, Australia's capital city. Here, they can go sightseeing on city tours, and visit many interesting museums and art galleries.
