Set within On The Clarence Camping, this 1300-acre property invites you to spread out beneath towering gums or pitch up by the riverbank. Go fishing, kayak the quiet stretches, or hike bush trails alive with bird calls. As the sun dips, light the firepit, cook by the BBQ, and watch the night sky fill with stars. Located near Tabulam and just an hour from Tenterfield, it’s an ideal base for exploring Paddy’s Flat Tank Traps, Tooloom Falls, Bean Creek Falls, and Boonoo Boonoo Falls. The 139-square-foot tiny home includes water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking gear, and a private bathroom with a gas-heated shower, hand basin, and eco-friendly cassette toilet.Guest Access:Guests have full access to the tiny house and the outdoor area around it. You can reach the campground without a 4WD, but if you want to venture further across the property’s trails and open terrain, a 4WD will come in handy.Interaction with Guests:Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.The Neighborhood:Set deep in Lower Duck Creek, the Tiny House is situated within a region that still feels authentic. Tabulam is the nearest stop for supplies, a small riverside town with a classic pub, servo, and local café.Head an hour further to Tenterfield, a heritage town with old brick pubs, local wine, and history etched into every corner. Like a drive out with purpose? Nearby landmarks like Paddy’s Flat Tank Traps, Tooloom Falls, Bean Creek Falls, and Boonoo Boonoo Falls reveal the rugged side of northern NSW. Although most guests barely leave the property, there’s something about the open land, the still water, and the quiet pace of country life that makes staying put feel just right.Getting Around:By car:- From Gold Coast – around 2.5 hours- From Brisbane – about 3 hours- From Byron Bay – roughly 1 hour 50 minutesYou won’t need a 4WD to reach the campground, but if you plan to explore beyond the main area, a 4WD is recommended for the unsealed tracks.By public transport:- There’s currently no public transport access from Brisbane or the Gold Coast, so driving is the best option.Other Things to Note:- Wifi will be available - Starlink available for purchase $20 per day.- Solar powered unit - Campgrounds and most of the property do NOT have mobile reception.- Mobile Reception is located at our Main Entry / Welcome to on The Clarence Camping Sign! Sporadic mobile reception can be located around the property. If you travel with Starlink, it works exceptionally well on our property.- No BBQ grill is available- Guests are advised to bring portable power banks in case of low power- Guests are also advised to save energy to avoid running out of electricity- We are on the river, so children have to be supervised 100% also because we are a cattle farm and have wild animals on the property- Smoking outside the tiny house is allowed, place buts in the fire pit.- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed- Please note that more extended stays or late check-outs will incur an extra chargePET- FRIENDLY property:- Pets should be kept on a leash at all times.- We welcome up to four pets per booking and allow all types of pets at our campsite- No Pets allowed Inside the Tiny Home, Pets are kept outside only.
