About this place
This pet-friendly eco-cabin is the perfect getaway for glampers and furry friends seeking a unique destination, immersed in nature. There are 200 meters of private and secluded grounds between the cabin and Christmas Creek, with guests in close proximity to nature with enough privacy to feel relaxed and recharged in the wilderness.
This Lamington National Park glamping site is completely self-contained and self-sufficient, completed by a wood-fire oven, rainforest deck space, a king-sized bed, and a glass shower overlooking a stunning rainforest and garden. It is also completely sustainable, powered by a hydro turbing fed by the local creek. Stress is out of the question here, so this site does not include Wi-Fi, to separate guests from the chaos of the modern world.
This modern site has all the facilities required to prepare a delicious meal. There is also a BBQ, wood-fired bakers oven, fireplace and outdoor fire

COVID-19 Actions
Our greatest advantage is our relative isolation. We do not get much traffic on Christmas Creek Road. Our two cabins are set on a 60 acre property. Bimbul and Serenity are150m apart. Both have their own private creek frontage. Each cabin has its own gated entry. As a matter of course we have always tried to keep our cabins in perfect condition. But we are taking extra steps to ensure the best possible practice is maintained in matters of hygiene. All bookings have a 'Closed to Departure' on the day of arrival and a 'Closed to Arrival' on the guest's departure. This will ensure the cleaning process is not rushed. All of our linen is thoroughly washed at 95'C. We add eucalyptus oil to enhance the clean. The duvet cover is included in our washing routine after every visit. We do not outsource this work. Our labour is your guarantee. Linen also has a minimum time in reserve/storage after every use. Time in storage is upwards of 96 hours. The COVID-19 virus survives on hard surfaces for around 72 hours. Therefore, it is an added measure of sterilization. Every hard surface is cleaned with disinfectant and includes chair frames, light switches, appliances, our two-way, wifi speaker, lamps, all door handles and window sills. We wear gloves. Social Distancing is maintained with our guests. Most times our guests simply let themselves in. We can communicate at all times by two way. As our cabins are self-contained there is little need for further contact.

Think lazing in a hammock under the rainforest canopy, reading a book, watching the birds, or swimming in the private rock pools of the nearby creek. For the more adventurous, there's plenty of opportunity to explore. This is an extraordinary bush experience on the edge of the wilderness end of Lamington National Park. This ancient gorge area is home to prolific wildlife, some rare and endangered. The activities include bird watching, photography, self guided walks, catch and release fishing, rock-hopping over the two creeks, or just taking it easy and lazing in your hammock. Some glampers might even be able to catch some of the events in the Scenic Rim area, such as Arts in the Olives, Farm Gate Festival, winery drives, Wyaralong Dam and Market Days.
