This luxury cottage rental suite in Mount Glorious, Queensland, is just 40 minutes from Brisbane city. It is fully self-contained and is focused on peace and privacy for guests. It includes a four-poster queen-size bed with all linen provided, a large room with a lounge, and a table and chairs. Also featured is a kitchenette with a fridge, a microwave, a coffeemaker, a two-burner stove, and an electric frying pan. The spacious veranda allows guests to take in stunning views of the surrounding rainforest. Complimentary port and chocolates are provided upon arrival, and there is a cozy wood-burning fireplace and electric blankets for those chilly winter nights. The private bathroom has a claw-foot bathtub looking out onto the rainforest. A collection of books, CD's, games, an iPod docking station, a CD player, and binoculars for bird watching are also provided. The property is a short walk from D'Aguilar National Park which offers a number of walking tracks and picnic areas. An optional breakfast basket is available for $15 per person per night.

Guests can enjoy the complete cooking facilities in the accommodation. The dining area looks out to the forest. There's also a private bathroom with a unique clawfoot bath and a cozy wood fireplace.

Guests can choose to be as active or relaxed as they like during their nature retreat. They can watch birds and wildlife from the privacy of a veranda, relax by the fire with a good book and a glass of wine (there are several wineries in the area), or take a walk in the forest. At night, they can enjoy the crystal clear, star-lit skies. At certain times, guests will even see the twinkling lights of fire flies.

Mount Glorious is surrounded by a national park, offering the opportunity to get close to the local wildlife which includes possums, bandicoots, pademelons, and the occasional koala, as well as a vast variety of beautiful birds. For photographers, there are endless opportunities to capture the lush rainforest and its flora and fauna.
