The prime activity in the Yarra Valley is the wineries! Guests can tour various vineyards while enjoying tasting, but those who don't like wine can still have a good time. There are also multiple breweries and artisan cider shops for glampers to enjoy during their travels.
Healesville itself has plenty of restaurants and shops to entice the tastebuds of even the most cultured traveler. Animals lovers will enjoy visiting the Healesville Sanctuary, a zoo that specializes in native Australian animals like the Tasmanian Devil.
Outdoor enthusiasts don't need to worry though as there is plenty of fun to be had outdoors! Dozens of hiking trails cover the region and hikers can easily venture to the Yarra Ranges National Park to the east of Healesville. Some of the more popular hikes in the park include the Mt. St. Leonard Track and the Mount Victoria Track.
