Cowaramup is a town in the heart of the Margaret River Wine Region of Western Australia. Just south of Margaret River, the locals lovingly refer to it as Cowtown, probably due to the forty-eight life-sized fibre-glass Friesian cows dotted throughout the town … this place really has to be seen to be believed! Aside from the cows, the town and region itself boasts many attractions, which means that tourists flock here all year-round. The many gourmet restaurants, bars, wineries, and breweries means this can become quite the foodie holiday! For something a little more activity-based (or at least more activity-based than eating is), you can explore the nearby magnificence of Bramley National Park, Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, Yelverton National Park, and Cowaramup Bay.
