Margaret River is a small town just south of Perth, and close to the vast ocean. This is a place for the foodies to visit – renowned for its world-class restaurants, its many wineries, and its multiple craft breweries (make sure and pay a visit to the Bootleg Brewery), it is a feast for the senses, and if you’re not going to indulge on holiday, then when are you? The mosaic of natural attractions in this area means there will be plenty of exploring ( so you can burn off all that beer and food). The Cape to Cape Track is a must to enjoy the immensity of the ocean – walk along limestone caves and over towering cliffs, and end at a place that feels like the end of the world – Cape Leeuwin. Geographe Bay is a must also for whale watching, while Ngilgi Cave, Lake Cave, and Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park will reward the intrepid explorers richly.
