This secluded property sits near the Macal River near San Ignacio, Cayo District, Belize. The gorgeous Cayo District is known for its incredible archaeological history. Glampers will discover the Cahal Pech Maya ruins just a few minutes' drive away from the property, where seven plazas and over 30 Maya structures can be explored. Guests can also visit the remote ruins of El Pilar, an ancient Maya city on the Belize-Guatemala border. For delicious restaurants, a grocery store, and supplies, there are a handful of charming villages not far from the rental. The even larger town of San Ignacio is also within easy driving distance and is connected to the town of Santa Elen by the Hawksworth Bridge.

Located in western Belize, glampers will have easy access to ancient Maya temples, terraces, mounds, and causeways, where they can spend hours learning about the ancient, advanced civilization. Western Belize is also famed for its incredible caves, many of which were used for Maya ceremonies.

Horseback and mule rides are available for exploring the stunning Maya Mountains and the Vaca Forest Reserve. Within the Vaca Reserve, glampers can take incredible day trips to hidden waterfalls, finding themselves completely secluded in nature. There are also a number of rare birds, plants, and wildlife hiding within the reserve. For more waterfalls and swimming opportunities, guests can take a tour on a pontoon boat.
