This site is very close to three major Mayan sites. The first is Caracol—the largest Mayan temple in all of Central America. The second site is Actun Tunichil Muknal, an ancient cave with preserved artifacts. The last site is called Xunantunich, which was a Mayan temple. Apart from these historic sites, have some fun hiking in Tipu or go tubing or canoeing on the Macal River. This property is also in the midst of Mountain Pine Ridge, which is a perfect place to see all of Belize’s unique birds.
