This 50-acre nature reserve is teaming with flora and fauna, where guests can enjoy around five miles of well-groomed nature trails and go tubing on the river from the property's sandy riverfront beach. In addition, this property is situated in the heartland of the Maya within close proximity to the Mayan villages of San Antonio and Cristo Rey. In fact, from the property, guests can tour the largest ancient Maya site of Caracol and the phenomenal sacred cave Actun Tunich Muknal (ATM Cave).

An ornithologist's paradise, many rare and colorful bird species can be spotted on a regular basis, and few of these include toucans, flycatchers, warblers, wrens, orioles, hummingbirds, kiskadees, woodcreepers, jays, honey creepers, and many, many more. Belize is known to be home to more than 450 species of birds.
