This region is famous for the massive Flatwatersea Lagoon and its expansive beaches. Due to its location near the equator, this area has a gets 3,000 hours of sun per year and has a fantastic climate year-round, reaching high temperatures every day.
Guests can explore the wide beaches to the west of the site, as well as the colorful houses and plentiful shopping in Itarema, which is less than ten minutes away. A 20-minute drive will bring guests to the less touristic village of Acaraú, where guests can experience local life and join in on the weekly, traditional "Capoeira" battle dances.
