There is no air conditioning in summer—domes can become quite warm during hot summer afternoons, though they typically cool down nicely in the evenings. The dome is not suitable for leaving pets unattended during hot weatherWe strongly recommend reading all seasonal information before booking so you can come fully prepared for the experience.OFF-SEASON STAYS (Sept 15th-June 15th):Best suited for adventure lovers and guests comfortable with a more rugged winter camping experience.The shower is not operational during the off-season. The dome is heated by wood stove only—firewood for the interior stove is included during off-season stays. The dome is not pre-heated prior to arrival—in colder temperatures, it may take 1–2 hours to warm the dome fully, so we recommend arriving earlier in the evening. Outdoor firewood is not included. Guests must bring their own drinking and hand-washing water AWD or 4x4 vehicles are strongly recommended during snowy conditions. Warm layers and winter-ready clothing are important during winter monthsIf temperatures are forecasted below -15°C, guests may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund provided at least 3 days’ notice is given before arrival.PEAK SEASON STAYS (June 16th-Sept 14th):Perfect for guests looking for a comfortable outdoor escape.Shared propane-heated outdoor showers available. Rain canopy provided. Firewood for the indoor stove is not included during summer months, as heating is typically unnecessary. Outdoor firewood also not included.Fire Ban Policy: Please note that outdoor fire bans are outside of our control and may be implemented at any time by local authorities, including during your stay. By booking, guests acknowledge and accept this possibility.
