This yurt rental on Vancouver Island can comfortably accommodate two people. The yurt includes a queen-size canopy bed and, if arranged in advance, an air mattress can be added for an additional fee. It also includes a luxurious clawfoot soaker tub and separate two-piece bathroom. Glampers will also be able to relax on its spacious patio while sipping a glass of cider. The luxury yurt is comfortable and warm with a gas fireplace and an electric kettle so that guests can make hot beverages.

There is a bistro on-site that offers glampers an array of culinary delights, as well as craft beverages. Guest can choose to dine al-fresco on the bistro's large patio or relax indoors surrounded by a traditional fieldstone fireplace. A shared cooler is also available for any items guests would like to keep cold.

The yurts are an opportunity to unwind and reconnect with nature, though, guests will find free Wi-FI on the property.

Situated on a cider farm and distillery, glampers can enjoy peaceful strolls through the orchards while learning about traditional cider and spirit-making. Afterward, guests can enjoy the craft ciders and spirits with guided tastings by knowledgeable staff at their bar. This property also boasts an orchard-side bistro and farmhouse store.

The surrounding Cowichan Valley, situated an hour north of Victoria, is a region that’s as renowned for its natural beauty and breadth of activities as it is for its culture and friendly locals. The Cowichan Region consists of a vast belt that extends all the way across Southern Vancouver Island and features a kaleidoscope of vistas, villages, and opportunities for adventure. As Canada’s only “Maritime Mediterranean climatic zone”, the region is well known for its agricultural bounty and more recently, its sheer number of internationally acclaimed wineries. Cowichan’s temperate climate also allows for all kinds of year-round outdoor fun like beachcombing, kayaking, hiking, golfing, fishing and more. Cowichan is such a complete vacation destination that in 2015, Vacay.ca named it one of the top 20 places to visit in Canada. Visit tourismcowichan.com for a list of local activities.
