Scenic views
This accommodation is located at a lodge in the outskirts of Hudson's Hope, British Columbia, where it is situated on the eastern shores of Williston Lake. The latter, in turn, is nestled in the forested foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Boasting 1,761 square kilometers (680 square miles) of surface area, Williston Lake is the largest lake in all of British Columbia.

The rugged landscape surrounding the lake is thickly forested with trees such as aspens and poplars, and it is home to a variety of wildlife, including elk, moose, mule deer, and white-tailed deer, which can all be seen grazing in the grassy areas right in front of the lodge. Other residents of the area include coyotes, wolves, beavers, black bears, brown bears, grizzly bears, bald eagles, and ospreys. The pristine waters of the lake and surrounding rivers, in turn, are home to northern pike, kokanee salmon, and a variety of trout.

About 11 kilometers (six miles) to the north, guests will find Butler Ridge Provincial Park. Encompassing 6,794 hectares (16,788 acres) of spruce and fir forests, the park provides winter ranges for caribou, elk, moose, and Stone's sheep. About 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) to the west, on the opposite shore of the lake, guests will find Mount Gething, which they can see right from the lodge.

The accommodation is about an hour and a half away from Fort St. John, where guests will find supermarkets, stores, restaurants, and the nearest regional airport.
