This romantic cottage is tucked away in the thick forest with views of the Purcell Mountains in the distance, perfect for couples seeking solitude in beautiful British Columbia. The soothing cream-walled bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed topped with a thick duvet and throw pillows. The en suite bathroom is equipped with a tub and shower combination with provided linens, a hairdryer, and a few additional toiletries.

The living room and kitchen area both occupy the cozy log-paneled main room, where glampers can warm up after a day in the wilderness by the glass-doored wood stove, watch a movie on the home theater in front of the sofa, or cook a romantic meal for two in the well-equipped, modern kitchen. On the cottage porch, guests can enjoy the tranquil sounds of the water on the lakeshore of Kootenay, or recline under the soft glow of the fairy lights adorning the A-frame deck roof.

The cottage has one bedroom and one private bathroom, perfect for two guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, gas stovetop, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffeemaker, and cooking utensils. The covered deck is furnished with a patio table and chairs, and there is a shared BBQ grill near the patio. The cottage also comes with a private parking space. Wi-Fi is available in the office and Retreat Centre, though there is cell reception throughout the property.

Guests of the resort will enjoy the opportunity to disconnect from the outside world, surrounded by some of British Columbia’s most beautiful scenery. Guests can relax over a glass of wine in front of their woodburning fireplace or out on their deck with gardens and fruit vines in the foreground and stunning views of the soaring mountains and pristine lake. Or guests can book a couple’s massage at the on-site Falling Water Spa, or choose a busy day of adventuring in the mountains or on the lake either on their own or by booking one of many available adventure packages.

Guests can go whitewater rafting, kayaking, or fishing on Kootenay Lake, or zip lining and hiking in the provincial parks nearby. In the Selkirk Mountains guests can explore caves on spelunking excursions at Cody Caves or relax in the soothing waters at Ainsworth Hot Springs. Of course, guests can also ascend into the mountains that surround the property on their own, spend time on the resort's private beach or go for a refreshing swim in the lake at any point during their stay. Nearby Kaslo also offers a range of restaurants, boutique shops, art galleries, farmers markets, and annual festivals for guests to experience throughout the year.
