Ruxton Island is one of the six De Courcy islands just off Vancouver Island, between Vancover Island and the mainland of British Columbia. This far-flung, remote, and isolated stretch of land is the perfect place for some downtime, and to just get away from it all. With rugged shoreline, rocky terrain, sandy shores (in some parts!) , and many beautiful trees and rock formations, it is a marine paradise. So indulge in some swimming and fishing, canoeing and kayaking, or even take a gentle hike around the island to truly get to know it. It is near to the islands of Gabriola and Drumbeg, as well as the Whaleboat Island Marine Provincial Park, Dionisio Point Provincial Park, and Newcastle Island Marine Provincial Park.
