Larch Hills in the winter is a cross country skiers paradise, with over 50 kilometers the host has track-set and over 100 kilometers that are not groomed. In the ski season, the tracks are groomed every day and they rotate through their central, north, and south trails doing at least one-third of the system each day. Near the chalet is the trails done sign on which the 'Tracksetter of the Day' will note the recent grooming. There is also a comment white board for anything unusual. If conditions are too difficult for the host's PB Edge, they will use their snowmobiles and pull-behind equipment.
