This cozy, stylish couples retreat is located on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, and is perfect for those looking to escape for a weekend getaway. Glampers will sleep comfortably in a queen-size bed dressed with comfortable linens. Extra floor mattresses are available to accommodate up to four guests total. There is a private outdoor shower with on-demand hot water as well as a private outhouse with a composting toilet.

A collection of rugs cover the floor, making the space inviting and comfortable. A table with floor cushions provides a place for guests to chill inside or perhaps enjoy a morning coffee or a meal. A chandelier, rope lighting, and candles offer a romantic ambiance once the sun goes down.

The outdoor kitchen features a double sink, a small fridge, a toaster oven, a hot plate, a kettle, and a coffee bodum. Glampers will find the kitchen stocked with basic pots and pans, dinnerware, utensils, and spices.

The lovely waterside deck is perfect for dining and lounging and glampers will have the use of a propane grill.

The tent comes equipped with a few modern amenities including air-conditioning, heating, and Wi-Fi. There is an outdoor kitchen, shower, and composting toilet. Please respect water restrictions by using water sparingly. The hosts kindly provide towels, linens, soap, shampoo, potable water, coffee, and tea.

The pond can be used for swimming and kayaking and there is badminton, bocce, and a slack-line for guests outdoor entertainment.

Please note: there is parking near the site, however, in order to get to the actual couples retreat site, guests must take a short walk down a somewhat steep path.

This private forested property is situated next to a large pond on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. Guests of this property will be treated to the ultimate in tranquil seclusion and fine amenities. Salt Spring is the largest and most populous of all the southern Gulf Islands and is also the most visited. Salt Spring Island can be reached via ferry from Tsawwassen on the mainland or from Vancouver Island. Buses, taxis, and car and scooter rentals all offer means of transport once on the island.

Salt Spring is very much comprised of farmers, artists, caregivers, activists, and environmentalists. The way of life here is very low key compared to city living and is very much focused on health, wellness, and free-thinking. Island dwellers pride themselves on their farms and farmstands which offer fruit and veggies, jams, eggs, meat, flowers, and more. Cycling is another great way to tour the island and see the sights. Endless beaches offer swimming, suntanning, beach combing, and boating while the ocean offers up boat tours or dinner cruises, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, diving, and paddle boarding.

Salt Spring Island offers more leisurely experiences as well. There are a number of shops, bookstores, coffee shops, and bakeries for those wanting to peruse or take time out to enjoy a yummy treat. The tent sleeps 4 people max with the cost being $50 for each additional guest.
