This property offers privacy, unique accommodation features, all amenities, including wifi, soaker tub, an outdoor pet area, and a convenient central location. Two private bedrooms and a landing with additional beds, compliment the two bathrooms kitchen, living room area, and private back yard. You'll be in walking distance of all of Wells' galleries, shops and theatres, just 5 minutes from Barkerville Historic Park, and a wildlife-filled 25 minute drive to Bowron Lake.

We offer our guest a special and affordable opportunity for individuals, couples and groups to have a custom experience when they stay in Wells.

Book the original guesthouse or the restored inn for private vacation home experiences, with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, and cooking and eating areas. Great for socializing or spreading out your stuff. For couples we also suggest one of our suites, with its own balcony, small kitchen and seating area overlooking Slide Mountain. Alternatively, we have another private room with seating area and queen sized bed.

We recommend a two night minimum stay so you can have at least one full day to visit to Wells and Barkerville. Check out our tabs at the side of the page for places to eat, shop and play.

Wells is a historic Gold mining town in the Cariboo Mountains. 80 km east of Quesnel on BC's Gold Rush Trail. We're the gateway to to Barkerville Historic Park, the Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit and the Cariboo Mountains. Wells was the largest town in BC north of Hope as late as the 1950's! Today, the tiny town that remains retains its historic charm and period architecture and is now renowned for our Arts, History and Culture.
