Located on West Redonda Island and near the famed Refuge Cove, this private property is an off-the-grid escape, only accessible by boat or water taxi. It is a three-bedroom rental, which comes with a covered dock that looks out to a private bay and beachfront. Guests will have an oceanfront view from the main room, as well as the dining area and kitchen. The three bedrooms can sleep up to a total of eight guests. Upon entering this raised cabin, guests will find a grand living space accompanied by an open-layout kitchen and dining room. Head on a day trip with one of the kayaks offered on site and kayak alongside the Sunshine Coasts' most forested islands. Glampers will find the limestone bluffs and sheltered coves the perfect place for an afternoon picnic or wildlife viewing. Native birds in the area include majestic bald eagles, ancient murrelets, and graceful Great Blue Herons. Guests will come across black bears and First Nation petroglyphs along the shoreline and below the surface, everything from mammoth whales and friendly seals to dolphins and river otters.
Those looking to explore off the island, Refuge Cove is a small community located just a short boat ride away. Home to about 20 families during the warm summer months and only a handful of residents during the offseason, it is a quiet town with all the characteristics of a beach town. Only a two-minute boat ride or a10-minute kayak from this island, Refuge Cove is the perfect place for stocking up on groceries, and also provides places for laundry, fuel, coffee, and more!
