Lake Windermere, which lies just minutes away from the property, has year-round outdoor recreational activities to fill guests days with adventure. In the winter, guests can skate or cross-country ski around the large lake. It's the largest maintained ice surface in the world, and guests can trek the 17-kilometer loop that runs its perimeter. In the summer, Lake Windermere is a great place to spend the day with a picnic, towels, and bathing suits.
