Experience the ultimate glamping in rustic luxury with our new off-grid cabins, located just 40 minutes from downtown Halifax. Our cabins are completely off-grid, allowing you to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in nature.
Each cabin is designed for comfort and relaxation, featuring plush linens, an ensuite bathroom, and a cozy propane fireplace. You can also enjoy a private deck to take in the breathtaking views of our surroundings.

Our 300 sq/ft cabin features:
- Rustic chic decor, warm blankets, and a comfy couch
- 100% solar setup including battery for plugging in essentials
- Extra plush queen-size bed with a thick duvet cover and warm sheets
- Propane Fireplace for warmth
- Indoor kitchen equipped with sink, and cooking + eating utensils
- Two-person board games, cards, adult drawing books, and coloring pencils
- Local coffee from Sunday Silence Coffee Co in Mahone Bay
- Custom tea blends by World of Tea in Halifax
- Smoke, Co2 Alarm, and Fire Extinguisher
** What Makes This Cabin Off-Grid **
- Powered 100% by Solar Panels (a large battery is provided in each cabin to illuminate lights and charge small devices. Our device has a screen that indicates the percentage of battery life remaining to help you determine how much battery power is available).
- Dry Flush Toilet (a.k.a waterless toilet. Easy to use and fascinating to watch. The toilet works in most respects works like an ordinary porcelain toilet but runs through a 16-second cycle that will close the bagging material around the waste.)
- No Running Water (we provide 36L of water for you to use for drinking, cooking, and washing up). And wipes to freshen up!
- Cooking happens outside; propane stove and a BBQ to cook up a delicious camping meal (propane included) - there is no fridge in our cabins.

Boasting 16.5km of wilderness hiking trails, the Crowbar trail network offers great options no matter how long a hike you feel like tackling. Arranged in a number of loops, the trail is constructed across a rugged granite ridge landscape and, as such, offers a demanding challenge.
The multiple loops of the trail allow for various routes of increasing difficulty ranging from 1 hour to a full day of adventure.
