The retreat is an adult only 21+ private resort with multiple accommodation types that cater to couples, singles, and business travelers. It is located in the sensational Hastings Highlands of southeastern Ontario, Canada. It sits just south of the Algonquin Park and just 20 kilometers west of Bancroft. The property boasts it's own private lake surrounded by Crown land and is within easy reach of the neighboring Diamond, Baptiste, and Elephant Lakes.
All resort amenities are available to all guests: a communal lounge with an ice machine and satellite TV and a fully equipped kitchen to prep delicious meals and snacks. The cabana is a non-licensed bar for guests' use, as well as three campfire pits with free firewood.
Plenty of BBQ's with propane included are dotted around the resort, and guests can use the bicycles, yard and tabletop games. Guests can take one of the boats out onto the private lake: kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, a paddle boat with oars, and lifejackets are available. Free parking is also available.

Guests can relax on the private, sandy beach on the banks of the private lake. To explore the waters, guests can use the canoes, kayaks, paddle boat, and paddle boards that are provided free of charge, as well as dive from the platform in the center of the lake or have a go on the water slide and the water trampoline. The lakefront also comes with a long boat dock that hosts a seating area under the gazebo. Mountain bikes, helmets, and bike locks are provided, should guests want to explore nearby trails. Additionally, there are binoculars and a telescope to enjoy some wildlife viewing.
This stunning resort offers a cozy lounge, three fire pits stocked with free firewood, multiple barbecues, and a GenAir cooktop in the cabana, the resort's non-licensed bar for guests use.
The resort comes with a huge, 1,500 square-foot dome which has a stage, sound equipment, and a dance floor. The dome usually serves as a games room but can be hired for wedding receptions or used as a rehearsal space, a dancing space, or even as a weight room. Guests will also find the aforementioned cabana, where they can relax, socialize, and enjoy a refreshing drink. The covered hot tub, which sits under a gazebo on the deck, is another great spot to chill out and admire the views of the lake.
Located all around the resort are outdoor speakers to create the perfect atmosphere. The resort offers a guitar, a keyboard, and tambourines, which is perfect for music lovers or for those hosting a special event. The resort treats guests to plenty of additional lounging space, including chairs and umbrellas on the beach, floating day beds, "zero-gravity" lounge chairs, and picnic tables.

This sensational resort is a haven for outdoor adventurers and with the lake and a private beach right on their doorstep, guests will never be short of things to do. The beach is perfect to relax, sunbathe, or play with a frisbee. Guests can go for a swim, dive off the dock, or have a go on the trampoline and water slide. The resort provides canoes, kayaks, paddle boats, and paddle boards, to allow guests to explore the waters of the lake. Lifejackets and paddles are also supplied. Additionally, there are a number of games to choose from, including ball toss, horseshoes, croquet, board games, and cards. In the evening, guests can sit around the fire pit or soak in the hot tub and gaze at the stars.
Algonquin Provincial Park is within easy reach of the property and boasts a host of outdoor activities. There is an abundance of scenic trails, which guests can explore by hiking or biking. The host suggests that guests check out local horseback riding and ATV rental companies, too. Algonquin Park is an excellent spot for fishing, boating, wildlife viewing, and even white water rafting for those seeking adventure.

While there is no front desk, the host will meet guests in the lounge to get them checked-in. Check-in is at 3 p.m., and check-out is 11 a.m.; however, it may be possible for guests to stay after 11 a.m. and continue to use the grounds and enjoy the beach. Guests can inquire with the host if interested in this option post-check-out.
