Drift, relax, and discover the quiet magic where the lake meets the woods.

Welcome to Drifter’s Landing, a cozy 2-bedroom lakeside cabin, sleeps up to 4 people, perfect for small families, couples, or solo travelers seeking a peaceful escape. Surrounded by the serene beauty of Lake Erie and Carolinian forests of Point Pelee, this cabin blends modern comfort with rustic charm.

The cabin’s layout flows naturally as you move through it. Step into the fully equipped kitchen, with all the essentials for cooking and laundry facilities for your convenience. Just past the kitchen, the breakfast nook and indoor dining area provide a bright, comfortable space for morning coffee or casual meals. From there, the living room invites you to relax on comfortable couches around the central fireplace, perfect for cool autumn evenings.

Off the living room, the sunroom offers lake views while keeping you sheltered from nature's elements — a peaceful spot to watch the sun shimmer across the water. The main bedroom features a queen bed and easy access to the bathroom, which sits conveniently between the main bedroom and the bunk room. The bunk room, with two twin beds, is ideal for kids and also accessible via a hallway from the kitchen, and features a small TV equipped with a DVD player.

Step outside to the water’s edge deck, where Muskoka chairs offer the perfect vantage point for Lake Erie sunsets. Enjoy the outdoor dining area and barbecue that make it easy to enjoy meals surrounded by nature and transition after dinner to share stories and s'mores around the fire pit. The cabin is just a short drive from Point Pelee National Park, Mersea Park, Caldwell Marina Conservation Boardwalk, and Seacliff Park and Beach, giving you plenty of options to explore the outdoors.

Drift, relax, and let the lake and woods set the pace of your stay at Drifter’s Landing.

Welcome to Leamington, often called the Sun Parlour of Canada. Our rental is positioned at the gateway to Point Pelee and the scenic shores of Lake Erie, offering a mix of outdoor adventure and relaxed coastal living.

Point Pelee National Park
Located just five minutes away, this park is the southernmost point of mainland Canada. You can hike the famous Marsh Boardwalk to see turtles and rare bird species, or take the park shuttle to the Tip, where the land narrows to a point in Lake Erie. It is a world-renowned destination for bird watching during migration seasons and is a designated Dark Sky Preserve for stargazing.

Waterfront and Recreation
Seacliff Park and Beach is a short drive from the property, featuring a long sandy shoreline, a splash pad, and the Sunset Amphitheatre. The Leamington Marina offers a beautifully landscaped boardwalk perfect for evening strolls. If you enjoy fishing, Lake Erie is known as the Walleye Capital of the world, with several local charters available for booking.

Local Food and Wine
You are in the heart of the Essex County Wine Route. Several award-winning estate wineries are located within a short drive, offering tastings and tours. Because Leamington is a major agricultural hub, you will find an abundance of roadside stands selling fresh local produce.

Nearby Day Trips
The Pelee Island Ferry departs from the local dock, providing a unique opportunity to explore Canada’s southernmost inhabited island by bike or car. Additionally, the neighboring town of Kingsville is only 15 minutes away and is known for its boutique shopping and diverse dining scene.
