Secluded in woodland and overlooking a large, peaceful pond, the rental is just 30 minutes from the vibrant city of Ottawa, Ontario, but guests can look forward to being surrounded by nature and wildlife. An entirely off-grid rental, the tree house gives guests a unique experience.
The rental has a queen-size bed with all linens and bath towels provided. During the summer, guests have access to an outdoor shower, and there is a nearby compost toilet as well. The hosts have provided a variety of board games for guests to enjoy in the evenings. The rental is free of electricity, however, there are battery-powered lights, and while there is no central water, the hosts provide guests with drinkable water. During the winter, the rental is kept warm and cozy thanks to a wood-burning stove.
The tree house is raised nine feet off the ground, allowing guests wonderful views of the surrounding woodland, as well as the large, onsite pond from the furnished deck. Additionally, guests will be able to enjoy the use of a canoe and explore the wildlife on the pond at their leisure.
